Biography:
Dr. Xu is a VP of Product Development in Complete Genomics, Inc. His research interests include DNA nanoball (DNB) based massively parallel DNA sequencing, WGS/WES, DNB-based applications, protein engineering, enzymology. He did postdoctoral training in the University of Minnesota, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Chinese Academy of Science. He received his B.S. in chemistry from Zhejiang University, China. He has published more than 20 papers and co-inventor for more than 60 patents.
