Biography:
Dr. Helena Carla Castro is a full professor at the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and coordinates the Laboratory of Antibiotics, Biochemistry, Teaching and Molecular Modelling - LABiEMol at UFF Institute of Biology. She has extensive experience in Drug Design, Biotechnology, Molecular Modelling, and Inclusion with over 300 published articles and more than 100 students trained under her supervision. She is currently a member of Carlos Chagas Filho Foundation for Research Support of the State of Rio de Janeiro - FAPERJ and the National Technical Commission on Biosafety – CTNBio of Brazil.
