Biography:
Since 2022, I have completed my “PhD Plus Teaching” studies from the Strathclyde
Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS), University of Strathclyde
(Glasgow, UK). Furthermore, this program is novel laboratory-based PhD studies with an
additional teaching qualification (duration: 42 months), with the aim to gain the skills to
teach students via delivery of lectures, tutorials and workshops.
Currently, I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Drug Delivery and
Pharmaceutical Technology at Middle East University, Amman, Jordan. My research
involves nanomedicine, advanced drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical technology,
drug discovery, cancer therapeutics, and the application of artificial intelligence in
pharmaceutical sciences.
I am now the only Ambassador of the British Society of Nanomedicine in Jordan. This
job allows me to actively encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and worldwide
engagement in nanomedicine research and innovation.
I have authored and co-authored several impactful publications, including recent works
on non-invasive heparin delivery systems, co-delivery strategies for drug-resistant
prostate cancer, and tumor-targeted nanocarriers. My earlier clinical investigations also
explored novel biomarkers and metabolic indices in prediabetic patients with metabolic
syndrome.
I have also committed to leveraging modern technologies to solve real-world clinical
challenges such as oncology, targeted chemotherapeutics, and personalized medicine.
