Atziri Corin Chavez Alvarez

Biography:

Atziri Corin Chavez Alvarez earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Université Laval in 2024 and is a postdoctoral researcher at INSERM UMR 1240 IMoST, Université Clermont-Auvergne. She is the lead author of studies focusing on the synthesis of advanced antimitotic agents and their impact on the tumor microenvironment. Her research seamlessly bridges the evaluation of direct cytotoxicity in breast cancer models with the investigation of tumor-associated macrophage plasticity. Currently, her work centers on designing innovative therapeutic strategies aimed at overcoming drug resistance through selective modulation of immune and stromal responses within malignant tissues.
